Sacramento schools survey identifies priorities

The No. 1 priority for employees of the Sacramento City Unified School District and the community is small class sizes, according to results of a district survey released Thursday. Responses from district employees and the community, including parents and local business owners, were similar for the most part. Both rank up-to-date textbooks and clean schools in the top four priorities. But they differ on Gifted and Talented Education, which community members ranked third and employees ranked 17th.
