Cupertino school district backing lawsuit against state

A local school district has decided to back a legal battle being waged in superior court to change the way California schools are funded. On June 15, the Cupertino Union School District board of trustees unanimously voted to support a lawsuit filed in May in Alameda County by a coalition of more than 60 students and families, nine school districts, the California School Boards Association, California State PTA and the Association of California School Administrators.
