Parents criticize San Bernardino charter school

On more than one occasion, Maria Naranjo has found her son on the verge of an asthma attack when she picks him up from school. The problem says the mother of four is the dirt-covered eating and play areas where her 5-year-old spends much of his day at Casa Ramona Academy for Technology, Community and Education. Public health and safety issues and concerns about how the San Bernardino school is being run led to a walkout by students earlier this week. Angry parents say they will continue to make their voices heard in the weeks ahead. (more…)
