Students rally for DREAM Act passage

Students all over the Los Angeles area held several events this week to push Congress to pass the DREAM Act. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa joined undocumented students and supporters Monday at the Roybal Learning Center in L.A. to urge the U.S Senate to pass the DREAM Act. Mayor Villaraigosa said the legislation would give “high–achieving young people the opportunity to fulfill a dream.” (more…)
